Robert Rottman

Robert Rottman, 85 passed away peacefully on Thursday May 16th, 2024, at his home in Aurora Colorado. He was born on September 1st, 1938, in Jakarta, Indonesia to Simon and Gretta Rottman. They immigrated to the Netherlands where Robert lived with his family until 1967, at which time he moved to the United States. He was a proud resident of this country and gained his citizenship in October of 1968. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years and continued to work for the U.S. Government until retirement.

He was married to his beloved wife Sylvia A. Rottman for 53 years until her passing on January 31st, 2024. He is also preceded by his youngest son Robert Tezak, brother Max and sister Yolanda who are also deceased.

Robert (Bob), was a talented singer and musician, an athlete and avid sports fan, soccer player/coach and competed in tennis weekly until well into his 80’s.

He is survived by his daughter Teresa Tezak, son Donald Hagan and daughter in laws Kristine Hagan and Michelle Hebert. Robert’s grandchildren include Cooper Tezak, Gabriel Saindon, Jerod Saindon and Janelle Saindon along with various great grandchildren. He is also survived by his immediate family in the Netherlands which include his sister Roos Visser, and brothers Ferry, Bert, and Henk Rottman. He is also survived by his brother Gus, who lives in Michigan.

Viewing will be at 12:00pm followed by service at 1:00pm and burial will begin at 2:00pm.
