

Robert (Bob) was born in Arvada. He lived 94 of his 98 years in Arvada, Colorado.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Bethene, his son, Dennis, and his daughter Merry. He is survived by his daughter, Judy ( Ron), 3 grandsons, Eric (Mandey) Kay, Chance Weber, Benjamin Kay and son in law David Weber.
He married Bethene Ford in 1949. They lived a few places in the Denver area before they resided permanently in Arvada for their 74 years of marriage.
Bob retired in 1980. He then took on a part time job as “Mr. Green Jeans” at Happy Valley Preschool for a few years. He enjoyed the kids & the animals.
Bob and Beth went on many golfing excursions around the western states with friends.
They had a “winter” home in Sun City West, Arizona that sat on the golf course. You could see one or the other or both on the golf course 5 days a week!
Bob was a volunteer Ranger at Arvada Reservoir for 10 years. He loved fishing and being around lakes.
Bob’s favorite things were fishing, golfing, watching sports on tv. He was an avid Rockies fan, win or lose!
He loved being around his family. He looked forward to the times he could spend with his grandsons. He loved to hear about their adventures and what they were up to. He cherished these moments!
The family wishes to thank Springwood/Nightengale suites for the wonderful care they provided.
And special thank you to Abode Hospice! This organization is amazing. Everyone was very caring, kind, considerate and gave excellent care to both the patient and their families.
A private service will be held for Robert, Bethene and Dennis, with Army and Air Force Honors rendered.
