Born on February 1, 1941 in Glendale, California to Vincent and Maxine Bower Kowalski, Robin grew up in Palmdale, California. He built a career as a bus driver at RTD, where he was known for being a caring and kind driver. He received countless commendations for kindness, customer service and going above and beyond for his passengers.
Those who knew Rob will remember his deep faith, his kindness, and his quiet sense of humor. He was often found meeting with a few male friends for doughnuts and coffee or running errands. But much of his time was spent reading his favorite books. Rob’s greatest joy was driving and spending time with family and friends.
Robin is survived by his wife Bev; son, Nathan (Tammy); granddaughters, Jessica (Caleb) and Grace; great granddaughter, Hazel; sister, Bobette; niece, Joelene; and grand nephews, Justin and Jase.
A Memorial Service will be held at Community in Christ Church, 12229 W. 80th Ave, Arvada CO 80005, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
