We are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing today.  We live next door to Ron's rental property and got to know him while fixing things around the yards.  Ron was a good guy with great, polite kids.  Our hearts go out to your family and please let us know if there is anything you need!

I don't know where to begin. I've put this off as I have a heavy heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to Luann and your boys. Ron was the kindest man I ever met. He worked for me at Mervyn's for almost 8 years?? We became friends as well from the start. He would help anyone who needed it. Not to mention the best damn shoplifter catcher to ever work for me! I will miss your smile and laugh. We went through some crazy times. Rest in peace... you will be missed

It was my pleasure to work with Ron. I have fond memories of conducting store visits each time finding him with his respected Store Director partnering to catch bad guys. An anomaly at the time. 
Ron was a great leader, partner & friend to all those that had an opportunity to know him.

Very sorry to hear of Ron's passing.  As an underclassman, he was still nice to me.  Actually, had a secret crush for a year because he was such a great guy.  Prayers to Ron's family and friends and may his soul rest in peace.

I have many fond memories of Ron growing up. We went to school together from Elementary all the way through High School. He remember he was very popular. He was always kind, considerate and was EVERYONE's friend. I am very sorry to hear of his way to early passing and will pray for his family and friends, please accept my sympathy and condolences.

I'm very sorry for the loss of Ron!  He went to Thornton High School with me for the first two years until he graduated in 1984!  I graduated in 1985, a year after he did! He was a great guy & good soccer player!  He's watching over us right now!

I have a few great memories of Ron from Thornton High, one of my favorites is when we were scrimmaging during soccer practice and he was on defense and was going to clear the ball and I thought I would be smart and jump up and block it with my backside. Well Ron let it go and I had a soccer ball imprint on my butt for a week. Never forget those memories. RIP Ron..

I haven't seen Ron since we graduated from THS in 1984, but I have fond memories of playing basketball with him at NGJH and of marveling through the years at his athletic and vocal talents.  Many of our mutual friends knew him much better than I did, but it was always clear how much he was loved and admired.  RIP, Ron, and blessings on your family.

I am saddened to report that Ron Strong lost his courageous battle with cancer and passed away yesterday, 18 January 2016.  Ron was a devoted LM member for 15+ years and a valued member of the CTF team, dedicated to the SBIRS mission, the customer and warfighter providing invaluable support to the launch and early orbit testing of GEO and HEO constellations.  Additionally, Ron maintained the LM IT infrastructure for the CTF as well as provided support to the customer's BuckNet IT infrastructure.  The SBIRS family will miss Ron.  He was an outstanding employee with ceaseless drive, a commitment to excellence and a mentor to many.  Most importantly, he was a friend and a dedicated husband and dad to his family.  He will be forever missed and we send his family our thoughts and prayers.  Information regarding services will be forwarded separately.

Ron was a wonderful, fun person that we will always remember and be grateful that he was our friend. My husband and I went to high school with Ron.  I will always remember him singing in the choir and making everyone laugh.  Ron was also the one that brought Bob and myself together on a blind date and was the best man at our wedding.  He was a special person with a good heart and will be greatly missed.
