Ruth Kea Blair

Kea was born in Lake City Iowa on November 28th 1939 to Margaret (Weiss) Osburn and Donald C. Osburn. Kea went to school at West View high school in Lake City, Iowa, where she played basketball and also met Jim Blair, her future husband. Married December 27th 1956. They lived in Sausalito California and started their family. She grew up following her veterinarian father -helping delivering horses and cows and working with family pets. She would later be inspired to become a nurse and would work at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge. After working for a year she was recruited to train as a surgical nurse in the Operating Room at Lutheran. In her later years, Jim and Kea became RV travelers.

Kea was preceded in death by her parents; Don and Margaret and her husband Jim Blair and her brother Wyatt Osburn.

She is survived by her sister Toni Osburn, and Kea’s daughters and families. Keeley Burkholder and Jodi Blair and Jami Sandstrom. Grandchildren: James Blair, Keri Burkholder, Michael Burkholder, Jori Sandstrom, Jace Sandstrom, Great Grandchildren: Lacy and Grayson Burkholder.

Visitation will be March 3rd at 2pm - 4pm and graveside service will be held March 4th at 1 pm at Crown Hill in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
