I’m so blessed to of spent my life knowing my great-grandmother! That’s just over 29 years and it’s been awesome. I loved hearing stories about her life and travels with Gramps. My favorite times with Grandma Sally were when my parents, siblings, and I would go to her house and play cards with her. We always had good laughs and DONUTS! 

A memory she would often talk about with me would be when I was a young kid playing hide-and-seek at her house. I was hiding in the  kitchen that time. She said, “you were so cute sticking your fingers through the pantry doors saying ‘come find me!’”—Grandma would always pretend she couldn’t find me. She was the cutest! 

She was the sweetest woman and had a heart of gold. Sally was very wise, SMART, and always thought of others. She will be missed everyday by many. She has touched many lives. I love you Grandma and I will see you again, one sweet day!!

Aunt Sally,  we are all going to miss you so much.  I love that you and my mom were such good friends and that nothing could hold you two down when the music started.  It was always so exciting when you and Uncle Elmer would lead the dances at all the family weddings.  We will sure miss your spunkiness.   Rest in Peace and say hi to all of the rest of the family up there.

Grandma Sally will always be a special party of my life. Our lives will never be the same and our hearts are broken. I have comfort knowing she is in heaven with so many precious loved ones and I cannot wait to see her again.

She and I had many wonderful, long phone conversations.  We had a great time reminiscing about the past.  

She praised her adult children and would often tell me how blessed she was to have such wonderful kids.  She was truly blessed.
