Scott, a truly exceptional human being would offer his hand if it got me  through until it was alright.

Uncle Scott...
I have no words that will be able to explain how much I will miss you, and how much I love you. We recently spoke a lot of your wishes after you passed away. After you told me quite a bit, I remember making you stop, telling you "We don't need to worry about this for another 100 years because you weren't allowed to leave me". Even though you're gone from this earth, you will never be gone from my heart, or the heart of my babies (Corban especially, because he loves his Uncle Spot). I try not to think about the fact that I can't just call you anymore, those thoughts make me feel like I can't breathe. You have always been so good to me, and I hope you realized how much that meant. I love you, Uncle. To the end of the world. I hope I never forget what your laugh sounds like, because that's what I miss the most.
I would also like to thank everyone who was so close to him, for being there. I know it meant everything to him.

I felt more at peace at and after your memorial, greeting and being with so many people that loved you so, hearing their experiences and watching Mom soak in their praise. Thank you for all that you have given to my life both during and after yours.  I will miss you always, and hope that we will see each other again.  I'm so sad to let you go, but rest peacefully. My dear dear friend, I honestly do not know what I will do without you.  You were one of the kindest, gentle hearted and genuine people I know.  You and I shared a lot of sorrow and a lot of laughs.  You knew me inside and out. We had no secrets you and I and we were so much alike in so many ways. We understood each other. You knew me better than I know myself. I miss stopping by to say good morning, I miss you coming over to say good morning to me and I miss our breaks and lunch trips together.  I miss you in SO many ways.  I keep hoping I will wake up from this nightmare.
I hope you know just how many lives you touched and how many people cared so much about you. I am so blessed and so very grateful that you were such a huge part of my life.

I just recently had the pleasure of meeting Scott and he will be missed dearly not only by me but my family as well.  May you rest in peace Scott.

Scott was my dear friend. He spent many days and some weekends in our home. We considered him part of our family and Christmas with him was a joyful time. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known and generous to a fault. We will miss his quiet humor and genuine love. We watched the old BBC shows and my critters adored him. God's blessings, my wonderful friend and may you always be remembered as a treasure.
