So so sorry for your loss! As you know Tom was an awesome athlete at any sport he played! I knew him from kindergarten through after high school. Actually Tom and I were George and Martha Washington for the Portsmouth centennial in 1976. He was such a great guy! Janet Bruck Guse

I remember going to the farm when my uncles and aunts would come home and visit. I was at the farm and it was Tom and Nick and maybe John and they were talking and one of them said we are going to call Melissa  maylasis. So from then one that would be my nickname. I remember when u would come home and stop by my house and see us for a visit. RIP Tom until we meet again.  Your niece  Melissa 

Dad it's been one week. One week since you left me.  I keep replying the morning I found you in my head over and over again,, maybe it's because I am hoping for a different ending. This just can't be real and doesn't seem real. I keep hoping I am going to wake up from this awful dream. You looked so peaceful, just like you were sleeping and I am trying to find comfort in that. Our whole household misses you far beyond belief. I will carry on where you left off with the boys. The boys absolutely adored you and you them especially your bestfriend and lego buddy Antonio. I can't even begin to tell you how blessed and truly lucky I feel that you were able to live with us the last 13 years. The boys don't even know a life without you in it because you have been here with us since day one. That unbreakable bond you had with the boys is something I know they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I also feel blessed and proud of the bond and friendship that we grew and had. We had gotten so close the last 2 years. I also loved seeing how close you and Jose had become over the years and the absolute amount of respect you had for one another. I miss you like crazy dad. I love you. Please give Mama and Poppy a huge hug and kiss from me. Until we meet again

I remember the day you asked my sister to marry you. You were on the way up the mountain to take her somewhere I'm sure very romantic. And Lisa made you pullover so you guys could call and tell me the good news.
I remember being in a bowling league with our families and I remember we weren't very good; but we had a blast.  
But mostly I remember how very much you loved my sister both in life and beyond  her death.  I know the day you lost her your heart would never be the same.  But now you've reunited and are both at eternal peace along with my baby girl who went to heaven on May 10th please give both Lisa and my days kiss. 

Dad,
I don’t know how to say goodbye to you. The boys have never know a life without you in it. Antonio misses his best friend, his papa, his Lego buddy. Jr misses his papa too. I promise I will continue where you left off playing catch with the football 🏈 with Jr. Dad I miss my friend, we had our routines everyday and now I’m alone when we would be together. I miss you more than you ever know.  I miss the smell of coffee all day and all night long or listening for your door to open so I knew you were on your way up. I miss the you and I time we had every morning. I hope to continue to make you proud of me as a daughter. I love you dad and you truly are missed.

The drives to the farm, all the trips, walking me down the isle seeing you hold

Tom was larger than life at Morningside!  He had friends all over campus & was a great bb player & teammate!  He will be missed!
