Tony Petranilli died on September 26, 2015 from complications suffered during a motorcycle accident. Tony worked at the County Jail on Smith Road and was a 19-year veteran with the department. He is survived by his only son, Tony Jr., sisters Kathy and Jackie and many other family members and treasured friends. His parents Frank and Vivian Pierce preceded him in death. Services will be at 10:00am on Tues. Oct. 6, 2015 at Mile Hi Church, 9077 W. Alameda, Denver, CO with burial to follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, W. 29th Ave. and Wadsworth. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Tony Jr. pay for funeral costs. All extra proceeds will go to Tony Jr. in a trust fund. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to this fund. "Petro" was a well respected deputy and a loving, involved father. His presence will be missed by many.
