Vickie was born on May 8, 1945 in Starkville, Colorado to Joe and Sarah DeHerrera. On September 18, 1965 she married the love of her life, Guillermo “Larry” Sanchez in Denver, Colorado.
Vickie worked most of her life with Rocky Mountain Orthodontist as a Lead Supervisor of her department. In Vickie’s younger days, she enjoyed reading romance novels, listening to many types of music, gardening and her most favorite was hosting and cooking for family gatherings. That could explain why Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite holidays.
Vickie absolutely adored her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vickie is survived by her four daughters; Sandra Sanchez, Gloria Vera and her spouse Paul Vera Sr, Eschell DeHerrera and spouse Summer DeHerrera and Barbara Lovato all of Denver, Colorado.
Brothers and sisters; Angie Mestas, Eddie Medina, Sheila Trujillo, Margie DeHerrera, Ernest DeHerrera, Elizabeth Basquez, Leroy DeHerrera, Kathy Trujillo, Esther Summerfield, Virginia DeHerrera and Michael DeHerrera all of Denver Colorado.
Preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Sarah DeHerrera and brothers; Jerry Medina, Lawrence DeHerrera, Ross DeHerrera; and Sister, Judith Alvarado all of Denver Colorado.
Vickie was a girl mom! However all of her grandchildren were boys with 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
