Viola Lee Johnson, 85, Arvada, passed away on November 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by Arthur, her husband of 62 years; survived by her children Catherine (Gary) McIntosh, Leslie (Rich) Krough, Arthur W. Jr. (Tammy) Johnson, Linda Johnson; grandchildren Chris (Sara), Lauren, Julia, and Connor; great-grandchildren Morgan, Ava, Tyler, and Allie. Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 2 at Crown Hill Mortuary Pavilion of Reflection.

Viola was known as "Vi." She was sweet and was loved by everyone. Vi was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A child could not have asked for a better mom. She always put her children first and never, ever complained. In her younger years, she was a stay-at-home mom, a troupe leader, a room mother, a chauffeur, a counselor, a secret keeper, a spaghetti maker and a cookie baker. Vi had a passion for arts and crafts and in her retirement years, she became a skilled China painter. There was nothing that she couldn't do. She magically made the impossible, possible.
