Vi was known for her steadfast faith in God and her devotion to serving Him. She spent countless charitable hours helping to provide food, clothing, shelter and sometimes counseling to those in need. She found time to serve in the church and the community as she lovingly cared for her large family. She enjoyed the outdoors and taking long walks with family and friends while sharing her faith in the Lord. Vi was enamored of traveling the world with her beloved husband Joe; they were companions through thick and thin, making their own kind of fun as they traversed life together and with their five daughters.
Taking time to celebrate everyday and special events with family and friends, Vi had a knack for entertaining. She used her God-given talents to make even strangers feel at home and loved while they were visiting. She enjoyed outings to the family property in the mountains, and on several occasions accompanied Joe in his quest to climb many of the Colorado "Fourteeners".
Vi was a wonderful cook, talented seamstress, and devoted mother. She not only
taught her daughters the importance of learning how to be self-sufficient, but by sharing her love of God with them, she taught them to grow in their most important relationship with Him.
Vi will be missed by her loving daughters and many other family members and friends who knew and loved her.
