On Saturday, May 4th 2019, William (Bill) Pettit, beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend made his journey to his next existence and now finds peace, freedom from pain, and others that passed before him, including his parents, a brother, friends, and many furry 4 legged friends.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Linda Pettit of Arvada, CO, a son; Damon Pettit of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter and granddaughter; Andrea Pettit and Aliera Visconti of Denver, CO; sister Marietta Rinehart of Harrison Arkansas; brothers Jerry Pettit of Pinewood Springs CO and Roger Pettit of Denver CO. Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends will miss the smile, optimism and loving support he ceaselessly provided.
He loved life, everything about it, and made a point to live his life to the fullest from traveling the world to spending time at the sanctuary he created at his stunning home. He shared his love of cooking and wines with others in any way he could manage. Bill was very loved and every moment spent with him was cherished, he was an amazing man with a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial service for Bill will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
