Barbara Borg

Barbara J. Borg (née Winter) of West Bloomfield passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Carl T. Borg Sr. Loving mother of Carl Jr. (JoAnne), Michael, and Joseph (Stephanie). Proud grandmother of Carl III (Macy), Eric (Kristen), and Alexander. Adored “Grandma Great” of Ava.

Barbara was born into a large family on December 1, 1938, in West Branch, Michigan, to Joseph and Norma Winter. She is survived by her brother Joseph, sisters-in-law Delores and Joyce, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A loving and dutiful daughter of our Lord Jesus, she found joy in music, especially playing with her senior center music group, and with family, and she never passed up a chance to dance. Barbara had a deep love for flowers, especially those in her gardens and the landscapes of her second home in West Branch, where she also enjoyed hunting deer and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son funeral home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, MI 48386. In-State will be Saturday, May 31, 202,5, at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass following at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd, White Lake, MI 48386. Internment Monday, June 2, 2025 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Schrigley Street and S Valley Street, West Branch, Michigan 48661… reunited with her beloved Carl.
