I am deeply saddened to hear of my aunt booboo passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins and uncle 'see Paul'.

I am so sorry to have read in the paper of your mom's passing. I remember her as having been so nice  from the time we were all at La Jolla Elementary together! You may remember that my mom passed away when we were in sixth grade. So, though it is never painless for us to loose our parents, you certainly had the blessing of many years together!!!

We have such fond memories of Barbara as a neighbor and friend.  When we moved to La Jolla, the Hathaway family was among our first friends.  Our boys were, and still are, long time school and surfing buddies.  
It was through P.J.that we were able to keep up to date with Paul and Barbara after they moved away. 
The final years were difficult for the entire family.  
Barbara is no longer suffering. We pray for comfort and peace for the Hathaway family.
Our memories of Barbara are of a loving wife and mother and a gracious and warm friend.  Her life was a blessing to many.  She will be missed.

I was so sorry to read of Barbara's passing.  When she lived in La Jolla she was an important part of our little "Bridge Group That Doesn't Play Bridge."  I'm sadddened once again that we did not have much contact after she and Paul moved to Michegan.
