David McDonald, D.D.S., age 84, of West Bloomfield, was born October 30, 1938 in Detroit and passed away, July 25, 2023 at home. Beloved husband of Ann (née Short) McDonald for 50 years. Loving father of Megan (Mike) Vansickle. Proud grandfather of Grant Vansickle. Dear uncle of Heidi Rugani. David will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. David was preceded in passing by his parents, Fredrick and Marjorie McDonald; and his sister, Carole Huffaker.
David successfully ran a dental practice in the Union Lake area for an impressive 50 years, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
