Gloria A. Fredericks, age 73, of West Bloomfield; passed away on February 1, 2011. Gloria was the owner of Fred’s Diner, Sno-White Laundry and Freddies Bar. She has been a long-standing business member since the early 1960’s. Dear wife of the late Edward “Fred” Fredericks, who passed away in 1995; Beloved mother of Lynette (Scott) Younggren; step-mother of Leonard (Alberta) Fredericks; step-grandmother of Scott, Rebecca (Jimmy) Labis, Timothy; great-step-grandmother of Ava; sister of Peter Mazurkewich, Olga (Steve) Potosky, Virginia (Ted) Wolnairski, William (Mary) Mazurkewich, Irene Mazurkewich, Bernice (William) Pytyck, Dennis (Lisa) Mazurkewich. Mrs. Fredericks was preceded in death by her siblings Edward, John, Stella, Michael and Joseph. She will be especially missed by her cat Sylvester as well as loved by many, many people. The visitation will be on Thursday, February 3, 2011, between the hours of 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. at the Union lake chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union lake Road, White Lake. A private service will be held on Friday.
