

Gregory Paul Assenmacher; born April 6, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan; passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 with his family by his side. Mr. Assenmacher is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Pamela Assenmacher; his mother, Joanne Assenmacher; children, Matthew Yonka, Leah (Jason) Deska and Heather Assenmacher; siblings; Michael (Ruth) Assenmacher, Steve (Judy) Assenmacher, Jerry (Sue) Assenmacher, Christine (Michael) Marsalese, Daniel (Claudia) Assenmacher, Joe Assenmacher, Charles (Deb) Assenmacher and Cynthia (Jeff) Watson. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, William Assenmacher, one brother, Patrick Assenmacher and a sister, Suzanne Sikorski.
Mr. Assenmacher was a volunteer for Huron Valley Sinai. He also worked and retired from Chrysler Motor Company, Greg was an avid golfer and loved to fish. He especially enjoyed traveling north to the family cottage on Spider Lake where he could just relax and spend time with his family and friends. There were many of good times had at the lake.
Visitation for Mr. Assenmacher will take place on Monday May 19, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan. 48386. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386.
