James R. Maker, age 73, Born on November 20, 1936 and raised in Frankfort, Michigan, passed away on June 6, 2010. Cherished husband of Ruth for 27 years; Beloved father of Terri (Richard) Levy, Laura (Daniel) Hartman, the late Richard, & the late Lawrence Zonca Jr; Loving grandfather of Gianna, Eli & Ashleigh; James retired from West Bloomfield Schools after 42 years of teaching. He was a long time member of the Commerce Township Goodfellows & the Union Lake Eagles. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday June 10, 2010 at the Union Lake Road Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Family Will Receive Friends from 2-8pm on Wednesday June 9, 2010.
