John S. Dixon, age 76, born on July 26, 1937 in Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on March 5, 2014. John is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Carolyn Dixon, his son John Michael (Lori) and his daughter Lori Ann (Steve) Pierce. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Nathan, Ryan and Hunter. Dear brother of Linda (John) Speese. John was a long time member of V.F.W. Post 4156 White Lake where he served as a commander. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons and “Never” missed there hockey games. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at the Union Lake Road Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386. Visitation will be held from 2:00- 7:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014.
