Josephine A. Argyelean of Waterford, formerly of Novi, Michigan passed away June 30, 2019 at 102 years of age. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Donald (Judith) Thorp and Mary Jane (Jack) Barry. Step-mother of Sherry (Doug) Smith and Thom Argyelean. Proud grandmother of Kathryn (Andrew) Hickner, Tricia (Joseph) Gregart, Damon Pitser, Jeanne (Terry) Feldpasch, Robin (Brian) Roulo, John (Amber) Barry and Kelly Thorp. Treasured great-grandmother of Keith, Nolan, Ben, Sara, Chloe, Jack, Jamie, Jillian, Finnley, Regan, Ryan, Sydney and Tommy. Sadly she is preceded in death by her two husbands, Keith R. Thorp and Richard Argyelean along with one grandson, Edward Thorp.
Mrs. Argyelean enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the organ, clogging and traveling. She was a longtime member of the Richardson Center and will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm.
