Joyce Faith Piasecki

Joyce Faith Piasecki, age 87, of White Lake, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at her home. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert; her two children: Suzette (Mike) Riddle, and Craig (Laurie) Piasecki; her six grandchildren: Matthew, Aaron, Adam, Philip, Nathan, and Rachel; and her four great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Molly, Anna, and Ander, and two little angels on the way.

Joyce was born July 18, 1934, in Detroit, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd and Genevieve (Meyers) Read. She met Robert Piasecki in 1956 through a mutual friend, and it was love at first sight! Robert and Joyce began dating, and were married a year later in 1957, sharing sixty-four wonderful years together. Throughout her adult life, Joyce was a wonderful stay-at-home mom, and greatly enjoyed the time she spent taking care of her kids. Strong in her faith in Jesus, Joyce was a loved member of the congregation at the River Church in Waterford for over twenty years. Joyce loved being with her grandkids and watching them at sporting events, she rarely missed a game. She held fond memories of the trips she and Robert took to Pigeon Forge over the years to attend country gospel music festivals. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Genevieve; and her two brothers: Dale and Everett Read.

In accordance with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at The River Church, 3411 Airport Road, Waterford, Michigan 48329. Join us for coffee, light refreshments, and fellowship from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.
