Beloved wife of the late Terry Wallin. Loving mother and step-mother of Timothy (Nour) Jervis, Kristy (Mike) Cullinane and Brian (Crystal) Wallin. Grandmother of Sophia, Ben, Hannah, Maddox, and Esme. Sister to the late David Weisler and sister-in-law of Liz Weisler and Theo Kenealy. She is also survived by her niece Andrea and great nieces, Madelyn and Charlotte. Judy is also preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Jervis.
Although Judy proudly worked as a registered nurse in her early years, she later found her calling as the owner and operator of Northern Art in Petoskey, Michigan. Known in the community for her sense of style and decorating eye, she has her fingerprints on many of the beautiful pictures currently hanging throughout Charlevoix and Emmet County.
In retirement, she and Terry hit the road traveling the country in their motor home and spread joy working as activity directors in the various campgrounds where they settled.
During her final years living in the Story Point community in Novi, Michigan, she was known for her artistic flair and the mother of the beloved dog Danny.
Throughout her life she remained an avid reader, lover of crossword puzzles, card games and social gatherings.
She never hesitated to make new friends and she was always open to new people and experiences. She was known for striking up conversations with strangers and inspired kindness and kinship wherever she went. With her positive attitude, dry sense of humor and fun-loving nature, Judy always left a lasting impression on those around her and will be missed by all.
Although a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, she would appreciate no greater tribute than having her friends enjoy a cocktail while listening to “Old Time Rock & Roll” by Bob Seger in her memory.
*Special thanks to Julie, Marlyn and Violet who were of amazing support and companionship to Judy in her final months
