June L. Costello, age 79, of Commerce Twp., passed away Wednesday August 3, 2011. She is survived by her loving Husband of 58 years, James; her Daughter Sherry; Granddaughter Angela Treadway; Great grandchildren: Justin, Connor, Faith and Soren and her Sister Nancye Knight. June served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. She was a long time member of Edgewood Country Club and an avid golfer. She was the former President of Charlotte, NC. Jaycettes and served on the board of directors for the YWCA in Charlotte, N.C. A celebration of life will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Edgewood Country Club, 8299 Commerce Rd., Commerce Twp. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
