Beloved wife of Robert for 47 years. Loving mother of Robert and Helen Szwed. Treasured sister of Gloria Freeman. She is also survived by many cousins including Mary, Ellen and Kathy.
Karen loved baseball, going to the casino and playing the Lotto. She enjoyed word search puzzle books and spending time with her cherished cats, Bela, Precious and Ty.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the mass at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church or a charity of donor's choice.
