Michael George Badalutz passed away with siblings at his side on January 21, 2025 at the age of 67. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Badalutz. He is survived by his sisters: Janice Badalutz, Margie (Gavin) Jackson, Kristi (Eric) Fenske; and his niece and four nephews: Amy (Simon) Kitching, Alex Jackson, and Gabriel, Elliot and Simon Fenske.
Michael was one of a kind. He lived life in the moment and simply so, with not much material success or wordly accomplishment. Throughout his life he was told what to do, what not to do, and in attempts to befriend others he was taken advantage over and over - unfortunately, he was treated not so kind by many. But nevermind, Michael, in his own stubborn way let us know that what was done to him didn't matter much because he was going to love you anyway. He was an eternal optimist and he led his life with boyish innocence and a pure heart that could not be ignored.
There was no mistaking the things that were important to Michael, that which made him happy he wore on his sleeve - His love of family was fierce, and he was proud "big brother" of three sisters. Michael loved the outdoors, he was a passionate hunter, fisherman too. He loved people - pleasing them more than anything, and he adored his dogs, any dog. He was really happy dancing, flirting, spending time with his hunting comrades, star gazing and undoubtedly a hamburger was his favorite food.
If you had the good fortune to meet Michael, or especially to have known him, you were likely to have been touched, and even changed by his kindness, generosity and humility - his special wink and unforgettable smile live on.
The funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Monday, January, 27, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Lake Rd., White Lake, Michigan 48386. Michael will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Rite of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm at All Saints Cemetery.
