Dear Leah, I just leanred of Dick's passing last week.  Please accept my deepest condolences. My heart goes out to you and Jennifer, but Dick will always be with you in spirit within you heart and the loving memories of special times shared over the years.  I will be thinking of you tomorrow, 11 Aug 11, and glad that Howell and Susan will be there.  Warm thoughts,

I will be thinking of you on august 11th as you will be placing Dick In his final resting place and celebrating his life.
I think about you often and hope you are doing ok.  
Life seems very short but when I think back of our first meeting.....that was like 50 YEARS AGO!!!!!!
Remember George AFB, teaching on the base, etc.  I remember how Dick was so patient with you because he was so in love with you.  He never showed a lot of emotion but you could just see it in his eyes.  Then as life went on we were together for a visit in Spain, then stationed  Washington DC and Homestead AFB.  Dick as always the "adult" of the party, taking care of everyone's needs, cooking fine meals and just being a perfect host.  He is remembered very fondly.

Elaine and I will always remember the good times we shared with You and Dick at Torrejon, then Homestead and beyond. All our very best wishes go out to you and, although we are unable to make that last celebration in Arlington, our thoughts will be with you and your fighter pilot.

What a beautiful family you have.  Your husband has a kind face.  It was such a pleasure meeting you at Lavida Massage today.  You were the highlight of my day.  Everybody was talking about how sweet you are.  I will be praying for you and your family during this time of sorrow and transitioning in your life.  I hope to see you again. Dick Fisher devoted counltess hours of his personal time, experience and expertise to his community by serving on the Board of  Directors of Locklin Pine Cluster Condominium Association.  Dick served as our President for several years and was responsible for establishing harmony and confidence among our 96 families.  I will remember him as a man of many virtues who never raised his voice, but consistently sent out a strong message to strive for excellence by taking the slow but "right path," to achieve it.

Dick was a man who strived for excellence in everything he attempted.  He was an outstanding military man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  I have many good memories of the times we shared as young brothers growing up on the farm in Tennessee.I always admired and looked up to him.  Dick will always be with me in my heart.
