I had the pleasure of meeting Ron a couple of years ago when he drove down to Toledo to meet some of the Phi Kappa Psi alumni at a downtown restaurant for our social event. We enjoyed his company and I appreciated the time he spent with us and his travel time too. He was fun to talk to and to reminiscence about fraternity and campus life when he was attending TU (UT/UToledo). We'll miss his friendly demeanor and his infectious laugh!

Rest in peace,

Hi

My name is Rita May. I am so sorry for his family and friends loss. Ron did my taxes was well as most of my family's. He was such a great guy. I used to always look forward to receiving the reminder in the mail, it was that time again . The only good thing about having taxes done, was getting to see Ron and hear about his wonderful family and you could tell just how much he loved them. May Ron Rest in Peace. He was one of a kind.

Dear Pat, Scott, Kevin and family,
I’m so sorry that I’m not able to attend the service for Ron. I really wish that I could be there but I’m not able to get the time off work.
I will always remember Ron as being friendly and having a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Pat, Scott, Kevin, & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I remember Mr. Minor for all things he did for us girls in Orchard Crest North. He taught us how to fish, he always stuck up for us when the boys were picking on us. He would let us borrow his tent and come over & set it up for us so that we could "Camp out in the back yard." Thank you for all the fun childhood memories.
Sincerely,
Patti Hoaglin

Ron was great at giving advice about money and anything in particular. I sort of adopted him as a distant mentor that I saw when the family got together. He was a great person and will be sorely missed.

Ron, starting as my fraternity Big Brother, you became a mentor, a positive influence and a dear friend for 56 years. We will miss you greatly until we meet again in the hereafter. Thanks for all of the fond memories of our good times together - the trips, the car shows, the family get-togethers with Pat, Scott and Kevin, the lake cruises and most of all the many, many times we just enjoyed a drink and conversation. We are grateful that you and Pat were able to "see the world" more than most and the sharing of your experiences, often with your wonderful I-Pad pictures, will remain with us for our lifetimes.
Rest in Peace, Ron. Your life has left the world a better place.
