Roy E. Ball

Roy E. Ball, age 88, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 7, 2014. Roy was the loving husband of the late Theresa Ball, father of Michael (Sarah) Ball and Jennifer (Jack) Lehman and grandfather of Zachary Hatcher, Nicole and Matthew Ball and April, Wendy, Ashley, Carley and Casey Lehman. Roy was preceded in death by his daughter Margaret Ball.

Roy was a WWII Navy veteran. He was part of the Navy Pacific Fleet. He owned his own trucking company for over 42 years. Roy enjoyed gardening, being with his neighbors and hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Roy also liked to deliver Meals on Wheels to those in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family especially his precious grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church of White Lake on Tuesday, November 11 at 11am with an instate time at 10am. The visitation will be at Elton Black and Son Funeral Home on Monday, November 10 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a scripture service at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or American Cancer Society.
