Russell Andrew Mackey

He was born on January 26, 1958 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to parents Gerald and Marilyn (Holder) Mackey. Russell spent his career working as a laborer for Versatube Corp, South Oakland Industries, and Duffy's. He was very good natured and loved his cigarettes, coffee, and rigatoni.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents Marilyn Jean and Gerald Joseph Mackey; sister Patricia Dawne Mackey; and brother-in-laws Michael Ezzo and Bradley Cook. He is survived by his sister Shelley Cook of Waterford and Wendy Ezzo of Lansing; brothers William (Pam) Mackey of Commerce Township and Christopher (Judy) Mackey of Detroit; nieces Jessica Domin of Waterford and Jennifer (Sean) McCarron of Durand; and nephews Shane Mackey of Fenton, Nicholas Mackey of Denver, Colorado, Brandon Mackey of Commerce Township, and Tyler Mackey of Commerce Township.

A visitation for Russell will be held on Sunday July 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, located at 1233 Union Lake Rd, White Lake, MI 48386. An instate will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location followed by interment at Commerce Memorial Cemetery.
