Shirley Ann O'Kelly

Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Maureen (John) Underhill, Brian O'Kelly and Tim O'Kelly. Proud grandmother of Shawn Hansel, Thomas (Abbey) Hansel, Leah Hansel-Birch (Raul), Branden O'Kelly, Brian O'Kelly, Jr. and Justin O'Kelly. Happy to have several treasured great-grandchildren. Sister of Rita Martin, Kevin Ryan and the late Dolores Shields. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a member of the LAOH (Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians) for 55 years and a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She and Jim loved to visit Cedarville, Michigan and St. Pete Beach in Florida and vacation with their dear friends. She made many happy memories with her family at Camp Dearborn and traveling with her grandkids in her earlier years. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and she and Jim were able to visit Ireland 2 times. She will be very much missed by her family, friends and all from the A.O.H.

A funeral mass will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins in White Lake. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake and Thursday at church from 10:00am until the time of the mass at 11:00am. There will be a Rosary Service, Wednesday evening at 6:00pm.

Shirley will be reunited with her beloved husband James at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford.
