

Susan M. Campion, age 70, of White Lake; passed away on October 15, 2011. Susan was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and followed Jesus Christ all of her life. Devotion to her family was Susan’s full-time job and always put others before her, an unselfish and truly caring person. She enjoyed sewing and painting and will be missed and loved very much. Beloved wife of 48 years to Steve C. Campion; dear mother of Michael Campion, David Campion, Gerald Campion, Deborah Parsons and her fiance Gerald Drouillard, Thomas Campion; proud grandmother of Nicole Parsons; caring sister of Edward (Iola) Rossman, June (Robert) Sullivan, Mary Lou (James) Hassett, Gerald (Joan) Rossman, Paul (Karen) Rossman; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake. The visitations will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. along with a Rosary at 8 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Mrs. Campion will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until Mass; Interment at Commerce Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Diabetes Research Foundation; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
