Beloved husband of Nancy for 67 years. Loving father of Debra (the late James) Casselbury, Steven (Angie) Hoyt and Sandra (Doug) Ratliff. Proud grandfather of Matthew (Alexis) Hoyt, Gregory (Renee) Ratliff, Jennifer Hoyt, Kyle Ratliff and Alex Hoyt along with 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Lois Holiday and the late Pat Cook.
Mr. Hoyt was a lifetime member of Multi Lakes Conservation Association. He taught Hunter Safety Education for 50 years until the age of 89. Among his many honors and awards, he was recognized by the State of Michigan as "Volunteer of the Year" by the Department of Natural Resources. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be very much missed by all who knew and loved him.
