Alberta M Hein., 84 passed away May 06, 2014. She was born on July 22, 1929 to John and Mamie Schauf. Alberta was a business owner of Albertson & Hein machine shop. Albertson & Hein is an example of the American Work Ethic: the story of a family which built success on decades of “sweat equity”. The Company began as a tool grinding shop in 1951-actually, one machine in Robert J. and Alberta Hein’s basement. Over the years, the couple nurtured it into one of the largest machined parts fabricators in the capital city of aerospace manufacturing. Family ownership is the key to Albertson & Hein’s development into a major organization serving many industries. Its prosperity was painstakingly built upon a base of husband-and-wife teamwork: Robert building the parts, and Alberta managing finances. Day and night, weekdays and weekends for over 64 years. Carefully building a treasured reputation for quality parts and reliable service. Upon Robert’s death in 1981, Alberta purchased total ownership, continuing to manage day-to-day business operations. Alberta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Hein, son, Jim Hein. Survived by: sons, John (Milli) Hein, Joseph (Marsha) Hein, daughter, Jean Gary; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Gray, Jilliane (John) Heathman, Jennifer (William) Bunyard, Alissa (Shaun) Huibsch, Jason (Meagan) Hein, Jamie (Dustyn) Williams, 10 great-grandchildren. Family has requested no service at this time.
