Trying to get my mind around all the smiles of happiness Art received as he faithfully wheeled the church bus around all these years.  A gentle modern day example of Andrew who LOVED bringing people of all sizes, ages, ethnicity, genders, class to Jesus whenever the doors were open.  What a great reward is being enjoyed right now in Heaven.  Loving condolences to his family.

I have many good memories of Art from my years growing up in Wichita. I remember his pleasant greetings as an usher at First Church, his dedication to repairing the church buses, him driving the church buses on occasion when I was in grade school, and his kindness in repairing cars for my parents. After I moved away, I enjoyed chatting with him at the church about how his family members were and what they were doing and he would very happily give me an update. I know he loved God and he loved people. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the days ahead as you grieve Art's passing. Art and I grew up only a half mile from each other, and we went to the same one room grade school.  He was a very special friend to me. He was a fine person, and I know he will be greatly missed.

So sorry for you loss.  1st church won't be the same without Art there to greet everyone.  He always made a point of speaking to me every week.

Not only was Art a special friend who always spoke when he saw you, but he was so willing to do whatever needed to be done at the church.  We'll miss him. Our Sympathy goes to his family.

Art was truly a servant.  He kept our fleet of buses  running at the church for  years, and was a faithful usher.  Above all he was a good friend and will be missed.

Art and my Dad Ray Giger should have been biological brothers they got along so well!  I was thrilled to see Art at the 100th reunion this summer.  He was a wonderful man!

What a wonderful man.  We became acquainted with Art when we drove the People Mover.  He was very helpful when we needed it. He was also a humble servant serving as an usher.  The Lord has received another dear one into His arms. Glad we had you share our journey here on earth. You will be missed.  Our prayers of comfort are with the rest of the family.

Art was such a good friend to my parents.  Art and Blanch were so generous with their time to visit during my Dad's illness and then with my mom to take her to church when they could.  My heart breaks for all of you, but I know that Art is resting in Jesus arms now.  Actually, he is probably pretty busy chatting it up with family and friends who have gone before.  All our love and prayers go out to you all.

I have many fond memories of Art.  When I worked at First Nazarene on Saturday mornings, Art would stop by to work on the church vans, drink coffee, and we'd have a nice chat.  Art was a very giving person.  My sympathy to his family.
