

Christie Rainwater, age 39, employee of Sharpline Converting, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. Christie was born August 5, 1976, in Fremont, California, the daughter of Richard Gene and Patricia Ann (Kuntz) Rainwater. She was a graduate of West High School in 1994. She served in the U.S. Marine Corp. for 4 years and was honorably discharged in January of 1999. Christie is survived by her son, Daniel Richard Rainwater; mother, Patsy Rainwater; step-brother, Stetson Rainwater; step-sister, Lakin Rainwater; aunts, Linda , Arlene and husband, Quentin Stigers, Kathy Kuntz, and Jean Schnabel; uncles, Robert Kuntz and Tom Kuntz; paternal grandmother, Mary and husband, Sam Dowdy; step-uncles, Johnny Roberts and Alan Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Christie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Rainwater; uncle Doug Schnabel; aunts, Brenda and Carolyn Kuntz; maternal grandmother, Mary and husband, Jack Kuntz; paternal great grandma who raised him, Sara Bacon; paternal grandfather, Wally Eitzen; great aunt, Lois and husband, Bob Garber. Visitation 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 West 13th Street, Wichita; recitation of the rosary 7 p.m. Sunday, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca, Wichita; funeral mass 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Anne Catholic Church; burial will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memory, Wichita.
