Connie J. Freeman (Junker), 66, died June 12th, 2025 at home surrounded by family, after a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer. Connie married the love of her life on November 12th, 1983. Connie dedicated the early years of her daughters’ lives to being a stay-at-home mom. In 1996 the family moved to Derby, Kansas. When her daughters got older, Connie went to work for the USD 260 school district as a cook and later as a cashier, until her retirement after 24 years of service.
Connie loved spending time with family. In the summer, you could often find her on a boat or camping with family. During holidays, she made everyone feel loved and always had room at the table for more company.
Connie is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Brett; mother, Carolyn; daughters, Jessica (Adam) Weimer of Park City and Sheryl (Andrew) Phillips of Wichita; brother, Tim (Shelia) Junker; grandchildren, Lucas and Phoebe; and step-grandchildren London and Missy.
