Doris Zentz McElhaney Tinsley Retired, passed away April 16th, 2021 of COPD Complications. Services to be held at Believers Southern Baptist Church May 14th at 10:30 AM with a luncheon to follow. She was the 7th of 10 children born to Elman(Slivers) and Cora Sponseller Zentz of Mentone, Indiana.
She was a past Eagle Field Director for a Texas ladies apparel line; a Mary Kay Sales Director for 10 years and a Beauty Consultant for 28 years; Active in PTA at both elementary and secondary she was past President of Willard and So Hillside Elementary and Mead Jr High. She worked in the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors Auxiliary serving various positions including past president of Local, State and National Organizations. She was the first Auxiliary Representative to the National PHCC Contractors Board.
Preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings, Her husband A.G. (Mac) McElhaney and daughter Kimberlee McElhaney, her 2nd Husband Elwood(Woody) Tinsley, she is survived by one son, Brad(Kristyn and GrandStep Daughter Rozlyn) of Kansas City; one sister Joann Clark of Bourbon, Indiana.
In lieu of plants or flowers, we will be memorializing her life with donations to either the COPD FOUNDATION or the American Lung Association.
