Dorothy Jane (Houston) Schrag, 85, retired Haysville USD 261 teacher, passed away June 1, 2018. She was born August 28, 1932, in Wichita, KS, to Lena Bess (Nichols) and Glenn William Houston. She was predeceased by twin sons, Ronald and Donald Schrag. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Victor E. Schrag; two daughters, Judi (Chuck) Neufeld of Greenwood, SC, and Carri (Bob) Kliewer of Wichita, KS; one sister, Joanne Martin of Dodge City, KS; one sister-in-law, Leona (LeRoy) Graber of Wichita, KS; and one brother-in-law, Dean (Bonnie) Schrag of North Newton, KS. She leaves four grandchildren, two grandsons-in-law, three step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Hillside Funeral Home West is handling funeral arrangements. Visitation is Sunday, June 3, 6:00-8:00 pm, First Mennonite Brethren Church of Wichita, KS. Interment is Monday, June 4, 10:00 am, First Mennonite Church Cemetery of Pretty Prairie, KS. A service celebrating her life is Monday, June 4, 2:00 pm, First Mennonite Brethren Church of Wichita.
