She was born February 21, 1940 in Roswell, NM, the daughter of James E. and Mary Caroline (Topper) Thompson. She lived in Durango, Colorado until the age of 18 and then moved to Denver.
Minnie went to airline school to be a flight attendant, but ended up being an accountant for Walgreens. She retired from Walgreens in 2000.
She was never married but enjoyed time spent with her family. She loved traveling and taking photographs.
Preceding Minnie in death were her parents, siblings Hank Thompson, J.B. Thompson, and Clyde Thompson
Minnie is survived by her sisters Margaret Thompson, Marie Ritter and numerous nieces and nephews.
