Sylvester attended the Wichita Public Schools for his formal education. Sylvester was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Many years ago, he was a member of New Aim Dimension Church of Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Ravela Richie. He worked at Dollar General as a stocker and a cashier, but worked other jobs as well. Sylvester was a very loving and caring person. He had many friends. Everyone that knew him loved him; he loved spending time with friends and playing Bingo (he LOVED that Bingo!). He was a very fun and energetic person that loved to eat and feed others. He was truly the life of the party. Besides being loving and caring and nothing short of wonderful, everyone that came in contact with Sylvester (Dee) will never forget him. He leaves a lasting impression in our hearts that we will hold and cherish forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Wesley Wiseman, Robert Lee Wiseman, Jerry Lee Wiseman, Quincy Lee Wiseman; sister, Betty Pruitt.
Sylvester is survived by brothers, Freddie and Charles Wiseman; sisters, Dorothy Nell Hayes, Charlean Tymony and Dorothy Wiseman; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.
