Thelma Louise Lovejoy, 93, of Russellville, went to meet her maker on March 30, 2018. She was born March 29, 1925, in Springfield, Missouri, daughter of Ruby Mildred Blankenship and William Pinkston who died in 1927 on an overseas Navy tour. Before moving to Arkansas, Louise lived in Wichita, Kansas. She worked at both Cessna and Boeing Aircraft plants. Prior to retiring, Louise and husband Jim operated their own drapery business out of their home. During her lifetime she loved sewing, traveling, baking, dancing, bowling, handiwork, playing cards, and making each family member feel special.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her very special Aunt Nel; and the two loves of her life, James Earl Standridge of 25 years and James Elmer Lovejoy of 44 years.
Sharing precious memories are Louise’s children, Lana and husband Ben Hicks of Kansas, Jan and husband Paul Kadzik of Washington, Jim Standridge of Oregon, Michael Lovejoy and wife Virginia, Dennis Lovejoy and wife Leona, Sandra and husband Larry Miller, and Sheryl and husband John Killins, all of Arkansas; 60-plus grandchildren in various states, and many friends and other relatives.
Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 9, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita, Kansas.
