Joyce Marie Swoditch

Born on August 29, 1941 in Waterbury, Joyce was the daughter of Fred and Annette Dubé. After graduating from Waterbury Catholic High School, she married her 1st husband, Robert Brown and they had 5 children together. Later, she remarried and went on to pursue her nursing degree, embarking on a 30 year career as a Registered Nurse. Joyce touched many lives at St. Mary's and Bradley Memorial Hospital and in various healthcare settings.

Joyce will be remembered for her joy of life, dedication to caring for the sick, and her love of Cape Cod where she created many great memories with her family.

Joyce will be dearly missed by her children, daughter Nancy Brown of Naples, FL., son Bruce Brown and his wife Janet of Thomaston, grandchildren Christina Adajian and her husband Nate, Joseph Brown and his wife Rachel, Jessica Brown, Paige Brown, Rachael Glazner and her husband Bryce, Jeff Glazner and his wife Hannah, six great grandchildren, siblings Lewis Dubé and Carol Dubé Schlitter, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Swoditch, sons David, Fred and Scott Brown, sister Shirley Dubé Guay.
