Clarice Rousseau Charlet, 83, a native of Paincourtville and resident of Napoleonville, went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 26, 2021. Clarice enjoyed spending time with her family and watching sports, especially LSU. She was a good and faithful servant who was devoted to studying His word. Clarice leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of fifty nine years, Ronald Charlet; four daughters, Pam Blanchard, Rhonda Gauthe’, Claudette Landry (Duffy Jr.), and Wendy Arvel (Tod); nine grandchildren, Megan Simoneaux (Jim), Kelsey Gauthe’, Haylie Peterson (Tyler), Alexis Blanchard, Hannah McDaniel (Brody), Cameryn Gauthe’, Brennan Landry, Malerie Arvel, and Sadie Landry; three great grandchildren, Avery, Cohen, and Wyatt Simoneaux and baby McDaniel; two siblings, Joyce Theriot (Robert) and Raymond Rousseau. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Effie LeBlanc Rousseau; one great granddaughter, Francis Quinn Peterson; five siblings, Marion Landry, Verda Buckles, Lee “Buddy” Rousseau, Gerald “Chick” Rousseau, and Donald Rousseau. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Amanda LeBlanc, the staff of Cardinal Hospice, Dr. Keith Landry, and her church family at First Baptist. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Napoleonville from 9:30am until service at 11:30am.
