Charles Andrew Beel passed away at the age of 38 in Houston, Texas on Friday June 11, 2021. Charlie was born on May 10, 1983 in Clear Lake City, Texas. He was the second son of Skipper and Lianne Beel. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Garrett, his maternal grandfather, John Garrett, his paternal grandmother, Mildred Beel, and his paternal grandfather, George Junius Beel, as well as many beloved pets, including his dog, Dewey and his cats Louie and Suey.
After graduating from Clear Lake High School in 2001 Charlie attended and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Marketing in 2005. During his time at Texas A&M he served as Vice President of the Golden Key International Honor Society, the largest honor society on campus. After graduating from Texas A&M, Charlie was employed in a management training position with a local retailer before he returned to school where he graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Upon graduation, he pursued many vocations, eagerly utilizing his skills in sales and software development.
Charlie's reputation for perseverance, empathy and loyalty is well-known amongst those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as his beloved pets. Charlie kept up with the latest technological advancements and was a strong supporter of his Texas A&M Aggies.
Charlie is survived by his precious son James Gamble Beel, his mother Lianne Beel and his father Skipper Beel. He is also survived by sister Jennifer Beel Hood, brothers Michael Beel and wife Liz and Daniel Beel and wife Lindsey. Also surviving are nieces Katie Collins, Haley Collins, and Leah Beel and nephews Alex Beel and Ethan Beel. Charlie also left behind his two cats, River and Simon.
Visitation for Charlie will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. The funeral service will also be at Grand View Funeral Home and will commence on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 am, with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 am.
