He is preceded by his mother Liliane Jodard and Thomas Weathersbee.
He is survived by his wife Barbara “Bobbi” Weathersbee, step daughters Jessica Harvey and Melissa Frank, and grandchildren Scarlett and Maverick Harvey. He is also survived by his mother and father in law Tom and Shirley Ragland as well as his sister in law Jaki LeMense (Tom) and nieces Sammantha Ballou (Will), Lillian Fezzani and Jasmina Fezzani.
Being a Jacksonville/Jacksonville Beach native, he was one of the first babies born at Baptist beaches South hospital. Bill graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher Highschool in 1980 and went on to play football at Valdosta State University while obtaining his Degree in Business. He graduated in 1983.
During his life, he served 18 years in the U.S Navy reserves as a Lieutenant. He also joined the Publx supermarket family and considered that home for over 40 years. BIll was an avid fisherman, sports fanatic, and family man. He found enjoyment in many other hobbies, however his greatest treasure was his english bulldog Lucy “Lu-Lu”.She was a gift for his 50th birthday, and they were inseparable. He was a friend to all and had a hard time going anywhere without running into someone he knew. He is beloved by all of the friends and family he met throughout his years.
The family will be having a celebration of life memorial on June 17,2021 from 2pm-5pm at Fort Caroline Baptist Church, where he was also a member. Please come and pay respects to his family and while they celebrate and honor his life, because we all know Bill would hate for someone to be crying over him.
