It is with the utmost heartbreak that we announce the passing of Leo Holmes, on November 20th 2021 at the age of 93, in Bancroft, Ontario. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 64 years; Reta Holmes, son; Wade Holmes, daughters; Holly (Tom) Lambert, Rose (Kevin) Simpson, grandchildren; Angela, Amanda (Martin), Chuck (Felicia), Leslee (Jamie), Nigel (Stacy), Amber, great grandchildren; Demien, Rae, Nick, Richard, Riley, Alyssa, James, Anthony, Luka, Claire, Joel. Leo is predeceased by his parents; Amos & Iva Holmes, brothers; Clifford, Russel & Gordon, son-in-law; Dick.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St. Catharines from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. when a Funeral Service will be held. All guests are required to book a visiting time by calling the funeral home during office hours at 905-684-6346. Guests will be required to sign in upon arrival and masks are mandatory. Leo will be laid to rest in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Highway 20, Fonthill. If desired, memorial donations made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
