    • The basics of water cremation
    • How water cremation compares to traditional cremation

Planning a cremation—whether for yourself or someone you love—is a personal and often meaningful choice. More and more families are choosing cremation. There are a number of reasons why—including the variety of options available. One of those options is water cremation.*

Water cremation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis or flameless cremation, uses water and alkaline chemicals with the addition of heat to break down a loved one’s body. Some people consider water cremation a gentler alternative to flame-based cremation. Plus, water cremation allows for limitless ways to memorialize a loved one. At the end of the process, you’ll have your loved one’s ashes to scatter, keep close or create a permanent cemetery memorial.

It was very small funeral less than 20 people. Did not need very many memory books, thank you card. Would have liked little more time preparing program(memory book) for service.

My mother's memorial was beautiful. The team set up some great stuff that coincided with what she loved. I initiatially had the service set up in a smaller room, but so many people showed up that they moved it to the chapel without any hurdles. I couldn't be more grateful.
