Juan Ramon was born July 27, 1953 in San Isidro, Zacatecas, Mexico and was a resident of Santa Paula since 1966. He attended Santa Paula High School, then worked in agriculture the majority of his life, starting as a farmworker, continuing with his own company named after his mother, Marin Labor Services. Juan Ramon enjoyed gardening, a nice cold beer, and his family. He met his wife at a young age in Santa Paula and had a beautiful family life. He enjoyed a good joke, always making others laugh. When he was around his brothers and sisters, they laughed for hours, always joking and poking fun at one another. He was a gracious, kind host, often opening his home for fantastic barbeques where he made everyone feel at home. His smile lit up a room and everyone who knew him remembered him. Juan Ramon also enjoyed traveling with his family, cooking up a storm after watching the latest cooking show in a far off land, and was a lover of all sports.
He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Flora and father Nemecio.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sanjuana, and daughters, Miriam and Yanel; sisters Maria Elena, Gloria, Lola; and brothers Alfredo, Armando, Jesus, Tony, Nemecio Jr.
