Humberto Villarreal entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 17, 2020 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 85. He was born on October 21, 1934 to Enrique Villarreal and Martha Perez Villarreal in La Mesa-Encino, Texas. Humberto proudly served in the United States Army and then later worked as a Supervisor for HS Shanks & Son for over 34 years until he retired in 1996. During his lifetime he enjoyed dedicating his time to coaching baseball with the Falfurrias Little League with his brother, Eutiquio. He was a hard working rancher and his main concern was providing for his family. He loved helping his neighbors out with yard work and tried to always stay active.
Humberto was reunited in Heaven with his parents; his wife, Leovilda Rivera Villarreal; great-grandson, Jaime Mata and brothers, Eutiquio Villarreal and Homero Villarreal.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sons, Christobal (Ninfa) Villarreal of Corpus Christi and Humberto (Marissa) Villarreal, Jr. of Falfurrias; daughter, Kristina (Cirildo) Rodriguez of Kingsville, Texas; four brothers, Roel Villarreal of Bishop, Texas, Raul (Imelda) Villarreal of Encino, Texas, Enrique (Elda) Villarreal, Jr. of Kingsville and Cesar Villarreal of McAllen, Texas; sister, Yolanda (Benito) Villarreal of Los Fresnos, Texas; seven grandchildren, Angela (Arnold Munoz) Villarreal, Andrea Marie (Robert) Benavides, Humberto (Harley) Villarreal, III, Max Andrew Villarreal, Sierra Bianca Villarreal, Amanda Grace Villarreal and Derrik Allen Gracia; seven great-grandchild, CJ, Dayna, Evelyn, Logan James, Darla, Arnold Jr. and Tres; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Service will conclude with a Funeral Service at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.
